Tribal Leadership Council Announces the Recipients of the Tribal Leader Grant

WYANDOTTE, OK, February 15, 2024 – The Tribal Leadership Council (TLC) thru the Tribal Leadership Council Foundation (TLCF) awarded the following individuals grants to attend the Reservation Economic Summit (RES) 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

  • North Fork Rancheria of Mono Indians of California Vice Chairwoman Natori Naylor
  • Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians Chairwoman Nicole Boyd
  • Tejon Indian Tribe Vice Chairwoman June Nachor
  • Pakan’yani Maidu Strawberry Valley Rancheria Co-Chair Scott Dinsmore
  • Eastern Pequot Tribal Nation Tribal Councilor Kiana Scruggs
  • Alabama Quassarte Tribal Town Intergovernmental Affairs Officer Sean Nordwall
  • Woodland Women Executive Director Rachel Fernandez who just completed her term as the Tribal Council for the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin

“We are proud to offer this grant through the Tribal Leadership Council Foundation. This is the first funding opportunity we have been able to offer Indian Country,” said Chairman of the TLC Board of Directors Justin Barrett.

“The Foundation is excited to have these leaders in Indian Country attending RES. Working together we can not only elevate our individual tribes but Indian Country as a whole,” said Vice Chairman of the TLC Board of Directors Andrew “Dru” Alejandre.
