LAWTON, Okla. (December 19, 2024) – The Tribal Leadership Council (TLC) is excited to launch a Mentorship Program – Building Future Leaders.
“One of the most common requests we receive is from people wanting to be mentored in their leadership journey. We are excited to launch this program with the first cohort in 2025 as we all endeavor to build leadership capacity in Indian Country,” said TLC Chairman Justin Barrett.
The one-year program will run from April 2025 to April 2026 and will pair new and aspiring leaders with experienced leaders focused on the mentee’s leadership path. Some of the focus areas we anticipate are Tribal leader, Tribal government, gaming, and enterprise. We are accepting applications now for both Mentors and Mentees to participate in the program.
